About Crug

Hi All

So after many months of hard work I've finally opened crugshop - my first online store! Not many products up yet, but rest -assured there will be plenty more coming in 2026!

My personal journey over the past few years has taken me from alcohol addiction, obesity, unfulfillment and underachievement to gaining a healthy, fit, strong body and unbreakable personal philosophy. It's all about freedom with me - living the life you choose and not how others want you to. I make my own rules and live the life I want. Many of my creations embody this outlook. After thirty years of abusing my body and sabotaging my potential for a better life I quit alcohol and smoking in 2016/17. I also quit TV, streaming services and anything else that took my precious time, and began using it instead to move towards achieving my vision of success and how I wanted my life to be.

I've been shunned, insulted, mocked, ridiculed and written off by people time and time again, but none of it matters. These reactions are inevitable when one decides to go from being mediocre to extraordinary. What matters is staying true to my beliefs and achieving what I have set out to do. I continue with getting closer to achieving that ultimate vision each and every day through my strength of character, commitment and consistent hard work.  

I've always known I was gay, but it's only over the last couple of years I've really embraced my sexuality and let it all out - one of the best things I ever did! I believe it's vital to be true to oneself and not be intimidated by stigmas, society, etc. I love being what I am - and it's so liberating to live my life exactly how I feel and how I want to - the way everyone should in my opinion. 

The first book in my 'Oceana' series of fantasy fiction novels is due for publication in 2026, (I came up with the idea as a teenager in the 1980's!) and tells the story of a damaged teenager who travels to a far-off island steeped in mystery, monsters and magic and is forced to confront his fears and past - as well as an evil, alien, shapeshifting tyrant hell-bent on world domination and a veritable plethora of monsters, ghouls and villains along the way... Fortunately he's not alone, and finds strength, knowledge, wisdom, courage, humour, magic, gadgets and companionship from his new found group of misfit friends along the way. 

My series of personal development books 'Quest for Success' is also due to be released in 2026, and gives a step by step formula and guide on how to stop merely existing in a life of mediocrity and underachievement and build and live the life you really want to be, could be and should be living. It's how I turned my life around and went from winner to loser, failure to success story - and you can too...

I've transformed my physique from fat and unfit to the opposite in the past three years, as well as now being muscular and jacked, and my crug-gym clothing line stands for this - commitment, consistency, resilience, drive, persistence and a mindset that means I will not quit - ever. These are some of the attributes that have brought me success both in the gym and in my life in general.

There's my various calendars too, both digital and wall, and wallpapers too for your devices. Cryptids, Biker-Bods, Cruglines, motivation and inspiration, comedy, Oceana....

T-shirts, mugs, hoodies, caps, bags and more - comedy, design, artwork, fun, motivational... There'll all be available soon. I have hundreds of writing ideas and concepts as well as music and songs to generate, I'll never have time to do them all, but I hope that if I can be successful I'll be able to incorporate others to help with these projects in the future. I never suffer with writer's block - I get the opposite! My mind creates things as default - sometimes I wish it wouldn't... When I think of a teapot or a chocolate biscuit it starts talking or dancing and going on an adventure... I know that crugshop will be a great place for channelling my imagination and turning these visions into entertaining reality.

I hope you enjoy my designs and creations, and my attitude to life and success. To me, the secret of a successful life is to be fulfilled - to do what makes you satisfied - and this requires achievement. It's vital to me to be able to look back on it in the end and say - Yep, I lived the life I wanted to - a life worth living - and then some!

What's the point of being here if you're just going to be average and fit in with someone else's idea of how you should be? Not me - I am Crug - I will walk this Earth my way or not at all.

The last few years has been all about finding me - finding Crug... Now I have, it's time to show the rest of the world what that is...
